How to Play Block the Pig

The game takes place on a hexagonal grid. Before each round begins, you’re given 3 free blocks to block the pig’s most obvious escape routes. Once the pig starts moving, it will take one step at a time in an attempt to find a way out.

After each of the pig’s moves, you get to place one new block. Your goal is to completely trap the pig so there’s no way it can escape. However, as the rounds progress, the board becomes more open and the pig’s path harder to predict. If the pig escapes, you’ll need to start over from the beginning — so plan carefully!
