How to Play & Main Goal
🎯 Goal
Your mission is to butter every piece of bread on the cooking surface before your butter supply melts away.
•Your “melting butter” is shown as a countdown meter.
•If the meter hits zero and some bread is still unbuttered, the level fails.
🕹 Gameplay Instructions
•Controls: Move using the arrow keys or WASD.
•Sliding onto a bread tile spreads butter on it.
•Crossing empty spaces melts your butter and lowers the counter.
•Gliding over already buttered tiles makes you continue sliding without using extra butter.
•You also have two helpful functions:
•Undo (U): Revert your last move.
•Restart (R): Reset the puzzle entirely if needed.
Tips & Strategies
Use these strategies to improve your gameplay and beat challenging levels:
1.Examine the entire board first
Study all bread slices, open tiles, and buttered spots. A quick plan saves unnecessary movement.
2.Handle tricky bread pieces early
Butter slices near edges or corners at the beginning—leaving them for later often forces wasteful paths.
3.Minimize extra moves
Every step is important. Sliding on buttered tiles is free, but wandering around aimlessly costs precious butter.
4.Make good use of Undo and Restart
If your route becomes inefficient, undo mistakes or restart early instead of trying to fix a losing pattern.
5.Aim for efficient coverage chains
Try to butter several slices in one continuous slide while limiting travel across empty tiles.
6.Monitor your butter gauge
Always keep track of the melting counter. When it gets low, only take the shortest, safest routes.
