- Start & Jump: Press Spacebar (or the Up Arrow) to wake up the T-Rex and start running. Use this to leap over cacti and low-flying birds.
- Duck: Press and hold the Down Arrow to crouch. This is essential for dodging Pterodactyls flying at head height.
⚡ Gameplay Mechanics
- Avoid Obstacles: Your only job is to avoid hitting cacti on the ground and birds in the air. One hit and it’s Game Over!
- Survive the Speed: As you progress, the T-Rex runs faster and faster. The game demands sharper reflexes and split-second timing the longer you stay alive.

- Run Without End There is no finish line. The game is an “endless runner,” meaning you keep going until you make a mistake. Your goal is to stay alive for as long as possible.
- Chase the High Score Every step the T-Rex takes adds to your counter. The longer you run, the higher your score climbs.
- Avoid Collision One mistake is all it takes. The game ends immediately if your T-Rex crashes into a cactus or a Pterodactyl.
💡 Tips & Tricks
- Jump Early The T-Rex has a surprisingly long “hang time” in the air. It is often safer to jump slightly sooner than you think to clear wide patches of cacti.
- Ignore High Flyers Don’t panic when you see a Pterodactyl flying high up. You don’t need to duck or jump—you can simply run right underneath them safely.
- Keep Your Cool As the game speeds up, it is easy to tense up and mash buttons. Try to stay relaxed; a calm mind improves your reaction time when the screen starts moving fast.
- Play Anytime You don’t need to disconnect your Wi-Fi to practice! You can launch the game instantly, even when online, by typing chrome://dino into your address bar.
