How to play

Controls

To navigate the challenges of Five Nights at Freddy’s Remaster, players primarily use their mouse and keyboard. The mouse allows you to look around and interact with various security features, such as cameras and doors. The primary controls include:

  • Mouse Movement: Look around the office and monitor cameras.
  • Left Click: Use to interact with the doors and lights.
  • Keyboard: Use specific keys for quick actions, such as pausing or accessing the camera system.
  • Understanding these controls is essential to manage the jumpscares and navigate through the game’s tense atmosphere effectively.

Tips and Recommendations

  1. Monitor the cameras: Check your security cameras to track the movements of the animatronics—Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. Be aware of your limited power supply, as using the monitor drains it.
  2. Manage your power: You have a limited amount of electricity each night. Close the office doors and use the hall lights only when necessary. If you run out of power, your doors and lights will fail, leaving you vulnerable.
  3. Use the lights and doors:
  • Bonnie (left door): Check the light on your left. If Bonnie is outside the door, close it until he leaves.

  • Chica (right door): Check the light on your right. If Chica is outside, close the door until she is gone.

  • Foxy (Pirate Cove, cam 1C): Check Pirate Cove regularly. Foxy becomes more aggressive if you don’t watch him. If Foxy is no longer in Pirate Cove, he will be running down the West Hall (cam 4A). You must quickly close the left door to block him.

  • Freddy (starts at Show Stage, cam 1A): Freddy becomes active later in the week. He will move through the pizzeria, but will typically only attack if you are out of power or you fail to track him properly.
